Reauthorization of PEPFAR, The United States Global Leadership Against HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Act: A Side-by-Side Comparison to Prior Law

In 2003, the United States committed $15 billion over five years (2004–2008) to fight global HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria. President Bush recently signed legislation reauthorizing the law for another five years with $48 billion in funding. A new side-by-side compares key provisions of the reauthorization and the original law.
